#32. Icy Battle!! VS. Glorious Gym Leader Candice!! The Competitor's a Sausage Link Princess?!!

So dumb.

Yes because my idiot friend just sort of ditched me!

I'd assumed.

(I know.)

I'm tough, but honestly I'm kind of sick of temples and legends and stuff.

[>YES

. . . this town is useless.

Music: Pokémon Gym - Gold & Silver Version
Choro Notes: Snowpoint Gym
Snowpoint Gym is an icy floor puzzle with an added twist. See those snowballs?

You've gotta break through them. The catch? To build up enough speed to do it you have to descend a floor.

And of course there are trainers all along the track.

"Even if she fell on her ass twelve times today on this stupid ice! Oh I'm so sore."

Herpa Derpa

Whoa that's actually a serious indication of a problem.

Choro Notes: Snow Warning
Snow Warning is an ability unique to Snover and its evolution. When they enter the battlefield they cause hailstorms! Unlike just the move hail, this storm won't end until the battle ends or a different weather effect is used.

Choro Notes: Snow Cloak
The Snover's attack missed. Nevica, being a Froslass, has the Snow Cloak ability. During hailstorms, her evasion increases. So Snover actually hurt its chances here. The other added bonus of hail? It gives the move Blizzard perfect accuracy.

I'm not sure that's very classy. I mean if it was a kiss sure but. . .

Well now that that's out of the way.

Can we hurry this up? I've got an idiot to catch.

I'm tough because I surround myself with monsters.

""
What the heck was that?

Not likely ya starry-eyed weirdo!

Music: Kanto Gym Leader Battle - Pokémon Stadium version

What else have ya got, huh?

Choro Notes: Piloswine is a ground/ice-type. Moaniki probably should stay far away from that.

Whatcha gonna do, piggy? Can't earthquake a levitator!

Choro Notes: Stone Edge
Stone Edge is a very good Rock-type move. It's a bunch of rock shards flying upwards from the ground in an awesome sort of seismic strike. It's got a high crit-rate (It hits from below, you see.) This is basically a fuck you to anyone who thought they'd be clever like I did.

Alright Lyudmila, show 'em how it's done.

. . . It-It's ok. Shake it off, you have no bones!

See? You're fi—ok something is leaking out of you.

Switch with Viola, oof.

Holy mother. You're a big ol' gal ain'tcha?

Heh. That wasn't so tough.

Oh.

Choro Notes: Remember that Abomasnow forced it to hail for the rest of the match, so Snow Cloak is in full effect for Candice's Froslass as well.

Minor defeat, minor victory.

GOTCHA.

COLD!

Ok, THAT is a well trained Pokémon.

Sharpshooter Octopus~~~~

Music: Gym Leader Victory - Anime version

It's all I ever wanted~ That and power.

What are you trying to say that I'm focused on saving my idiot? Because I totally just forgot about it until now, yeah.

"You can trade it at the pokémon center for smoothies! Just a little program we're tryin' out here in Snowpoint."

Nope! Hey I'm gonna go now!

What? No. We do not need to conform to stereotypes here in Sinnoh, Candice-chan. That is not very sugoi at all.

Your friend's wei— You know what, actually you two make a good match for each other. Good luck with your extreme frostbite gotta—

. . . .

. . . . NO TIME.

Music: Team Rocket Hideout - HeartGold/SoulSilver
